Damiana

Damiana can be a great base herb for homemade teas... It is noted for providing a relaxing sense of well-being, especially in small doses. It has mild, relaxing aphrodisiac properties. Damiana tea was used traditionally by the native populations in Central America in fertility rituals.

  2. Place 4 tsp. of fresh lavender buds into a tea ball.

  3. Place the tea ball into the boiled water.

  4. Let steep for at least 10 minutes.

  5. Enjoy!

Sage Salvia apiana (White Sage)

Saging

Using a sage wand (a bundle of leaves together with twine) is the most popular way to use ceremonial sage.  Add a few leaves in a heat-proof bowl and light the tips of the leaves. Open your windows, it will get very smoky! Your intuition will direct you to particular corners of the room. Sage clears the air of impurities and fills the room with a fragrant smell.  Cleanse and clear a person's aura field by tracing their outline with the smoke of the sage; commonly practiced among African and Native American health practitioners.

Sage Bath

Sage has many therapeutic properties:  Including opening the sinuses, clearing congestion, while helping to ease nausea and headaches. White sage also calms irritated, rashy skin. White sage is also a natural deodorant and will leave you smelling fresh after your bath. Add crushed sage leaves to your running bath water to soak away stress and calm worn-out senses.

Sage Steam

Crush a handful of white sage leaves into a pot of boiling water. Remove the pot from the heat and lean over the steam, draping your head with a towel to trap the steam.

Sage Potpourri

Hang a sage wand in your closet to ward away moths and to give your clothing a fresh, herbaceous scent, and eliminate odors.

Sage Tea

Drinking sage tea helps to relieve congestion, sinus infections, arthritis, PMS cramps, and constipation.
